Double Trouble – Custom, Double Egg Table

This table was recently completed for a client in Midtown Atlanta.  It measures 7′ x 30″.  It is made entirely from cedar.  The table was custom designed, with the clients specific needs in mind and is made to house TWO Big Green Eggs.  A large on the right, and a small on the left.

The cabinet doors are made in similar fashion to the top, with half lap joinery.  It is an exceptionally strong method of joinery and creates beautiful doors that will never sag.

As usual, all of the fasteners are stainless, but are hidden by custom cut redwood plugs.  The table was finished off with two coats of cedar tone TWP sealer and will last a lifetime if properly cared for.

  1. Thank you, thank you, thank you! The design and solution you came up with for my two different sized eggs is amazing. And the quality of your craftsmanship exceeds all of the expectations that I had.

    But what impressed me most is your professional and friendly approach to business and customers. I came with a new project request and an unrealistic timeframe – and you pulled it off! The table was delivered on the same day we moved into our new home and my family was arriving.
